Rathish graduated from The Tamil Nadu M.G.R Medical University in India in 2006 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. After that he completed his Masters (M.P.T) in Orthopedics and Sports at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India and also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Manual Therapy (PGDMT) in New Delhi, India. He has been treating patients successfully for the past 10 years using specialized manual therapy techniques combined with strong evidence based exercise programs offering custom made rehabilitation programs.
In India he also worked as an assistant professor and clinical physiotherapist in Medical College Hospital. He understands that finding the root cause of the problem is vital in treating patients successfully so that they can regain their full functional ability.
Rathish has excellent clinical reasoning when it comes to the treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions and is also certified in Mulligans’ concept of manual therapy. He also does clinical research in the field of physiotherapy and has published research papers in various national and international indexed journals.
He uses a bio-mechanical approach in diagnosing and correcting musculoskeletal disorders targeting the root cause. Even though he can treat a variety of conditions, his main interests are cases involving Cervical and Lumbar disc prolapses.
